Our Story

How We Started

In 2009, access to dental services was identified as

the number one social service need in Pinellas County.

In 2011, united with a shared vision for providing affordable dental services, The Salvation Army, Clearwater Free Clinic and Arc of Tampa Bay collaborated to establish the Community Dental Clinic.

In 2013, the clinic opened its doors to the community - supported by the donations of gracious individuals, foundations and organizations, and the commitment of our dedicated dental and non-dental volunteers.

Who We Are

Our clinic is an independent nonprofit organization.

We offer urgent dental care and comprehensive dental services including

exams/x-rays, cleanings, fillings, root canals, and extractions

for adults in our community who do not have dental insurance

or the financial resources to access the care they desperately need.

Without access to care, treatable dental issues can lead to serious overall health problems. Our goal is to improve the dental health and

quality of life of our patients, reduce the number of missed work days,

and preclude unnecessary ER visits.
